Lumber and Solid Flooring Facility

The picture above is our primary facility where we process lumber and solid flooring which is located in Tell City, IN.  This facility is over 67,000 SF in size and stocks over 1.5 million board feet of lumber and approx 250,000 SF of flooring blanks at any given time.  Over half of that stock is American Black Walnut.  This is also the facility where our Artisans hand distress the unfinished flooring.  From this facility we do the following:

• - Ship Unfinished Flooring to our customers.
• - Ship Lumber to other flooring manufacturers. (Yes, many major brands your know of get lumber from us)
• - Transfer Unfinished Flooring to our finishing facility.
• - Transfer Lumber to our Engineered flooring facility.

Engineered Flooring Facility

Producing engineered flooring is a "Dark Art" and requires a production environment that is slightly different that that of solid lumber/flooring processing.  At this facility we slice the lumber into veneers which are the same thickness as the wear layer of our solid flooring (Click here to learn about our Engineered Flooring) and from here we do the following:

• • - Ship Unfinished Engineered Flooring to our customers.
  • - Ship Veneers to other flooring manufacturers. (Again, many major brands your know of get lumber from us)
  • - Transfer Unfinished Flooring to our finishing facility.
  • - Transfer Unfinished Engineered Flooring to our Artisans at our solid facility for hand texturing.
